Credit Union Branch Opening
Event goals for a new branch opening included building awareness of the credit union as a community-based organization and gathering information on prospective members.
Challenges included limited parking, a busy time of year (Mid -November) and a short promotion window.
Paolaworks created a “Home for the Holidays” theme, which spread the event over five-weeks, featuring individual weekly themes, linked to giveaways.
Bonus CD rates and “no application fee mortgages” were offered to all applicants during the entire holiday period. Taking a chance to win a 50” HDTV in exchange for particulars about their banking preferences netted new prospect contact information.
In addition to refreshments, a group of professional singers performed carols in the lobby during peak business hours.
A tree purchased by the credit union for the local Festival of Trees Benefit was a central feature in the branch decorations.
The event was promoted primarily through print: a direct mail invitation to area homeowners, statement stuffers to existing customers in the local area and posters in key locations.
